Our Story
Our homestead began in 2015 when we decided to raise our kids outside of the city. We purchased an acreage in the Alberta prairies, not far from the family farm Chantrelle was raised on. In fact, Bar JO is the brand of her grandfather, whose family was one of the first settlers in the area. We had the goal of raising our own meat and slowly added more animals to our homestead, and now are able to offer lamb, beef and pork for sale to others in our community. As we added small animals to our homestead, it was apparent we needed livestock guardian dogs to have any level of success. Although we did not originally set out with the intention to breed Anatolians, we fell in love with the breed and found breeders along the way whom we learned from and helped us to become one of the only registered breeders in Canada.

We are happy and able to ship puppies Canada-wide through WestJet Cargo at the buyer's expense and risk.
Location
We are located in Central Alberta, Canada, but we are happy to work with others on shipments.
Animal Shipment Options
We are happy to deliver meat within reason. When it comes to breeding stock, we only offer pickup.
